报告摘要:
PrOs₄Sb₁₂ is an interesting material that, in addition to heavy-fermion superconductivity, exhibits an unusual ordered phase (FIOP) in high magnetic fields, and its relationship to antiferroquadrupolar (AFQ) correlations has been discussed. We performed transport measurements under high pressure up to approximately 10 GPa in order to clarify pressure effects on the interplay between superconductivity and multi-polar order. From electrical resistivity measurements down to 0.3 K, we found that the superconducting transition persists up to 9.8 GPa, and that Tc decreases on the low-pressure side and then shows an almost pressure-independent tendency on the high-pressure side. Furthermore, in transverse magnetoresistance at 0.5 K, we clarified that the anomalies corresponding to the FIOP/AFQ boundary are suppressed with increasing pressure and disappear above approximately 7 GPa. In the talk, we will present these pressure effects on the high-field multi-polar order and superconductivity in more detail. In addition, based on a low-temperature normal-state resistivity analysis, we will discuss the pressure evolution of scattering in a manner.
