8月20-23日在瑞典斯特哥尔摩召开的欧洲先进材料年会上(European Advanced Materials Congress)，中国科学院王恩哥院士获得了国际先进材料终身成就奖（The Advanced Materials Laureate is honored for the notable and outstanding research in the field of Advanced Materials Science and Technology which may relate to Biological, Chemical, Engineering, Medical and Physical Sciences.）；中国科学院物理研究所丁洪研究员获得了欧洲先进材料成果奖(European Advanced Materials Award)。这次会议有来自世界63个国家和地区的科学家参加，王恩哥院士在颁奖典礼上以“Water: Soft in Nature Hard in Science”为题做了大会特邀报告，丁洪研究员以“Majorana Bound State in –Iron-based Superconductor Fe(Te,Se)”在分组会上做了特邀报告。
