Springer Nature
报告摘要:
The first academic journals emerged in the 17th century, since then the nature of science, and the publications that go along with it, have change drastically, with a numerous and ever expanding list of new journals, preprints, open access, digital publications and countless other changes.
• What then makes for a good paper?
• How do you navigate editors and reviewers?
In this talk I aim to provide some insights into these questions. I will chart the passage of a paper from the moment you press the ‘submit’ button, through to the final finished work from the perspective of editors at Nature journals, and explain how we judge manuscripts and hopefully provide some insights into what makes for a truly great paper.
